TIP: Best Viewed as SLIDESHOW

I took a photo trip to the Bronx Zoo in NY City on 6/5/08 to relax, get some great animal shots and enjoy the fresh air. Well I accomplished 2 out of 3 since the fresh air turned into a steady rain fall most of the day. I certainly put the weather seals on the D300 to the test but I'm happy to report they past with flying colors and kept the electronics nice & dry.

I managed to get some really great shots especially of the GORILLA'S, GRIZZLY & POLAR BEARS. They have 2 VERY large Silver Back Gorilla families there and even through the thick Plexiglas enclosure the shots came out fantastic & the gorilla's cooperated like they were at a family portrait session, so be sure to check those out, this is a MUST SEE Gallery IMO!
I'm going to research the Gorilla families and post the information in the gallery for your education if interested.
