Well here it is September and fall is arriving quickly here in New Jersey. In a few weeks my favorite time of the year to photograph landscapes arrives 'FALL COLORS' Yea! It will be time for me to down my hiking boots, smell the fresh air and hit the mountainsides that surround my home town to grab all of the fabulous colors North West NJ provides this time of year. Business is going great, my schedule is filling up fast for the fall months with some really interesting projects, parties & commissions so what could be better right!
Again Thanks for visiting my Daily Photo Journal as the year goes by, I'm into my 7th straight month of taking a photo(s) a day and enjoying all the great comments from my fellow artists, photographers & fans. Enjoy the fall folks, winter will be here too soon, but then it's indoor macro time LOL !
Best Regards,
~Bill Pador Photography~
"Lone Doe"
This lone doe stood in a field eating about 50 yards away from me just after sunset and it was getting quite dark, so I pushed the ISO to 1250 SS 1/5 @f/5.6 VR on hoping for the best. After the first frame clicked off she heard the noise and managed to look straight at me for a nice pose. I hit this with the new Topaz Labs - Topaz Adjust filter which gives it a processed / tone mapped look and off it went to the gallery.
I shot this using my new toy I bought yesterday, the TREK-TECH 'MAG-BAG' ($45) which is a really cool sand bag type steady device used when you need a tripod but can't fit one anywhere or don't have it with you (like last night LOL) It has a tripod-mount screw in magnet that grabs the bag like magic and then you just put it down on any surface to have a great steady platform to shoot low light from. I laid it over a fence top last night for this shot, works great!

Since I'm behind on my dailies I decided to add 2 more images (3 total today) so please give a look at these also:
