"Photo of the Day April 2009"
April is always a funny month here in New Jersey, it could bring a lot of rain, it can be cold or warm but one thing is for sure it certainly brings people out of their houses where they have been shacked up for the winter. You start seeing your neighbors whom you haven't seen in months, the birds & squirrels start seeking out fresh food & homes, flocks of birds can bee seen flying NORTH to return to their summer digs and life in general starts putting a smile on peoples faces. So either way, rain or shine April signals Spring and Spring signals FUN for photographers, myself included. So Thank You for visiting my some times gray galleries over the winter, it's time to start posting some color & life so sit back, relax and enjoy the show, it's bound to get hot in here !

Another gorgeous day here in New Jersey saw the temperatures rise to 95' with a bright sunny sky, Awesome ! Tomorrow will be in the 60's which is our usual weather for this time of the year so I can't complain. This lone tulip has been my model for the past few days and thought I should show off the entire plant this time. The green in the foreground are my other tulips that haven't quite come out yet but I got a really cool abstract shot of the sun shining through the leafs today as well which I am posting in my EXTRAS GALLERY CLICK HERE. This was shot with my trusty Tamron 90mm Di f/2.8 Macro while laying on the ground.
