Bill Pador > I just had my 2008 Pontiac GXP washed and figured it was a good time to finally photograph it. So I pulled into a strip mall to get some reading material at the book store and noticed a great place in the back of the lot to shoot this picture. If your looking for a FAST 4 door 'FAMILY SPORTS SEDAN' give the GXP a try, packing 303 HP and 323 lbs. of Torque this puppy really flies and handles like a dream !

Since I've been getting several comments & emails about the car I will try and add some additional info on it for those who are interested. Gas mileage is not on the great side, I average 16-17 MPG using Shell V-Power fuel (93 Octane) and that's a mixture of Urban & Highway driving. I do tend to drive a little HARD and if I were to drive NORMAL I would imagine another 1-2 MPG but not much more, because the Govt. EPA sticker on the car was rated as 16 mpg City and 25 mpg Highway with an overall average of 19 mpg combined fuel rating. I have only had it for little over 2 months and have NOT taken it on a full HIGHWAY drive to get the highway average, I will however post that info as soon as I do.

I got the car FULLY loaded with all options Except the GPS system which was another $2300 and I have a portable one so I had no need for it. Some of the FUN equipment it has are: 4 speed TAP Automatic tranny with Paddle shifters on the steering wheel for manual shifting (Like a Formula 1 car) HUD system that broadcast Speed, Direction, Temperature, Radio station etc. onto the windshield (like a Fighter Jet) Complete 4 wheel computer controlled STABILITY Control (they call it STABILITRAK) where the computer adjusts the power to the wheels if you go into a slide or spin to correct the cars tracking (Works Well especially in rain & snow) WIDETRACK Handling System and MAGNASTEER II Steering control, Traction control Sunroof, KILLER 7 Speaker MOONSOON in Dash 6 CD Stereo, XM Satellite Radio, *ONSTAR*, Remote Start, 18" Chrome Wheels, Cross Drilled Rotors and huge break cylinders (Breaking is UNBELIEVABLE and stops on a dime even from speeds of well over 100+ mph - "Not that I've ever tried it ;)"
All in all a really quick, well handling 4 door sports sedan that I'm really enjoying owning and I've owned a LOT of sports cars in the past including my 800hp 1999 Camaro that puts over 600 hp to the ground which was featured in a 5 page article in the January 2001 issue of GM High Tech Magazine ( I will take some photos of it and post them in my Daily Photos soon for those who are interested).

Thanks for looking and have a great day ! Any questions or comments please feel free to post them, I answer ALL comments and email personally !

Bill Pador > This abstract shot is of the base of my tulip leafs in my front yard garden. The sun was peering through them so nice I just had to take a shot of this. My TAMRON 90mm Di f/2.8 Macro did the heavy lifting on this one while I laid on the ground shooting into the setting sun.

This is my FAVORITE Sunset capture I have ever taken. It was taken in East Hanover NJ 3-23-08 along Rt. #280 East. I actually made a U-Turn after seeing this scene while driving and walked into the woods in order to get this image. I just couldn't believe the colors involved with it and being able to shot this in such low light without a tri-pod was amazing to me.
