Bill Pador > "Spinning Psychedelic Crystal Glass"

I had no idea what I wanted to do for POD today but I knew I wanted to mess around with low light subject matter. I started off messing around with some colored straws and went into a totally different direction with this project. I saw some some crystal glasses in my studio from a previous shoot laying there so I started messing around with one. This is a crystal champagne glass sitting on top one of those lit crystal spinning light tables they sell with those laser etched crystal blocks.
I like the ghosting effect of the top of the glass floating above the rest.

Bill Pador > This 300+ lb. Black Bear was photographed walking along Weldon Rd. in Jefferson NJ June 5, 2008. He was well behaved and not aggressive at all. I believe he was waiting for his chance to cross the road but once I spotted him and started to photograph several cars pulled over to watch this beautiful animal in it's nature state, after approx. 15 min. I guess he got tired of watching US and strolled off into the woods looking for some dinner.

It was a very exciting experience for me as I had never been this close (approx. 30') to such a large bear before. Just a wonderful adrenaline rush was had by all. . . 'Bill'
